DESCRIPTION:Indonesia’s decarbonization journey is shaped by diverse regional contexts and strong government involvement in energy investment. As industries seek locally tailored\, affordable low-carbon solutions\, partnerships and peer learning become essential. \nUnder the Twinning Arrangements for Decarbonization for Southeast Asia (Regional) Project (Twinning Project)\, the Southeast Asia Energy Transition Partnership (ETP) hopes to promote low-carbon approaches and technologies by convening like-minded organizations as ‘twins’ or clusters that can share knowledge and best practices in the region. Based on its existing collaboration with the Powering Past Coal Alliance (PPCA)\, ETP is actively considering sub-national governments for inclusion as ‘twins’ under the Project\, along with other parties such as active industry associations and financiers. \nHosted by ETP and powered by the Southeast Asia Corporate Decarbonization Exchange (CDx)\, this 45-minute Stakeholder Engagement Event (SEE) webinar will introduce the Twinning Project and highlight a local success story that demonstrates what practical decarbonization looks like in the Indonesian context. \n  \nObjectives \n\nIntroduce and explain the Twinning Project as a platform for collaboration\, capacity-building\, and financing support – and invite interested organizations to participate.\nShowcase a real-world decarbonization case study from Indonesia\, focusing on one of the target sectors\, to demonstrate practical\, scalable low-carbon solutions adapted to local conditions.\nHighlight how Indonesia enterprises and subnational partners can leverage partnerships and localized innovation to accelerate decarbonization across regions.
