Reports Launch Webinar: Net-Zero Roadmaps for the Steel Industry in Indonesia and Vietnam

This webinar will provide an overview of two upcoming reports that outline net-zero roadmaps for Indonesia’s and Vietnam’s steel industries. The reports, to be released on July 30th, assess decarbonization pathways by analyzing current steel production, energy use, and emissions, and evaluating scenarios that combine material and energy efficiency, electrification, fuel switching, low-carbon technology shifts, and carbon capture. Each roadmap identifies key milestones through 2030, 2040, 2050, and 2060, and proposes practical, data-driven action plans tailored to each country’s context. The webinar will also summarize the assessment of decarbonization pillars, economic feasibility analyses of key low-carbon technologies, and recommended actions for governments, steel producers, consumers, and energy sector stakeholders.
