Terms and Conditions

- Acceptance of Terms
By accessing the CDx platform or mobile app (Whova), you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform or app. Your use of the platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which outlines how we collect, use, and protect your data. You can access our Privacy Policy.
- Changes to Terms
CDx may modify these Terms periodically. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Terms on the platform. Continued use of the platform or app constitutes acceptance of revised terms.
- User Eligibility & Account Registration
Users must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in their jurisdiction, whichever is higher. Users under the age of 18 (or under 14 in jurisdictions such as China) may not use the platform. By using our services, you confirm that you meet the minimum age requirement in your jurisdiction.
Users must provide accurate information and maintain account security.
- Intellectual Property
All original content, trademarks, and materials created by Corporate Decarbonization Exchange Pte Ltd (trading as Corporate Decarbonization Exchange – CDx) are the property of CDx, a business entity registered in Singapore under its parent company, Asia Clean Energy Partners Investments Pte Ltd. CDx also republishes and promotes content from our partners with their consent. Ownership of partner content remains with the respective partners. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or modification of any content on the CDx platform without proper authorization is strictly prohibited.
- User Content
By submitting content (e.g. comments, feedback, data) on CDx, you grant CDx a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, and worldwide license to use, reproduce, and distribute such content. You are responsible for ensuring that your content does not violate third-party rights.
- Prohibited Conduct
Users may not:
- Violate laws or infringe on third-party rights
- Engage in fraudulent or harmful activities
- Disrupt the platform’s operation
- Attempt unauthorized access to CDx systems
- Event Registration and Payments
Payments: All fees are due upon registration and are non-refundable unless required by applicable consumer protection laws. Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights under consumer protection legislation in your jurisdiction, including rights to refunds or remedies for service failures.
Transfers: Tickets may be transferred upon 7 days’ notice via support@seasia-cdx.com.
Cancellations: If CDx cancels an event, a full refund will be issued.
Currency: All fees are quoted in USD, and attendees are responsible for exchange fees.
- Event Changes
CDx reserves the right to modify or cancel event details. CDx is not responsible for losses due to force majeure or unforeseen circumstances.
- Speakers and Topics
CDx may alter advertised speakers or topics as needed without prior notice.
- Media Recording at Events
By attending CDx events, you consent to photography and videography for promotional purposes. You may opt out by notifying us in advance by contacting support@seasia-cdx.com or speaking with a CDx representative at the event.
- Limitation of Liability
CDx is not liable for:
- Platform downtime or errors
- Event cancellations due to unforeseen circumstances
- Third-party actions beyond our control
CDx provides the platform, services, and content on an ‘as-is’ basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
This limitation of liability does not exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
- Indemnification
Users agree to indemnify CDx against any claims related to their use of the platform.
- Termination of Access
CDx reserves the right to suspend or terminate user accounts immediately if there is (a) a violation of these Terms, (b) fraudulent or unlawful activity, (c) actions that damage CDx’s reputation, or (d) a request by law enforcement.
If a user account is terminated due to a violation of these Terms, no refunds will be issued. However, if CDx discontinues the platform or services without cause, affected users may request a pro-rata refund of any prepaid fees.
- Force Majeure
CDx is not liable for failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government actions, cybersecurity incidents, or other force majeure events.
CDx is not liable for platform downtime or service disruptions caused by events beyond our control, including cyberattacks, regulatory actions, or technical failures.
- DMCA Compliance for User-Generated Content
If you believe your copyrighted work has been posted without authorization, please send a takedown request to support@seasia-cdx.com.
- International Use and Compliance
If you are accessing our platform from outside Singapore, you are responsible for complying with local laws. Your use of the platform may be subject to additional rights or obligations under applicable data protection or consumer laws in your country.
- Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, where Corporate Decarbonization Exchange Pte Ltd is registered. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall first be resolved through good faith negotiations. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration in Singapore, in accordance with the Arbitration Rules of the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC).
These Terms are drafted in English, which shall be the governing language in any disputes arising from translation interpretations.
